-No, Ski Town will assign your pick-up time. To ensure a smooth departure, airlines recommend that all passengers arrive at the airport 90 minutes to 2 hours before their scheduled departure time at Hayden-Steamboat Airport (HDN). Your pick-up time from your lodging location accounts for this recommendation, as well as picking up other passengers, drive time, and potential delays due to road, traffic, and weather conditions.
-Ski Town will send you an email or text message the evening before your departure with your exact pick-up time. This time is based on your location in Steamboat Springs and your flight departure information. Our system will automatically generate a tentative pick-up time three hours before your flight’s departure; however, please note that this time is an estimate and not exact.

How many passengers are there on a shared shuttle? And how many stops does it usually make?

Our shared shuttle service primarily utilizes Mercedes Sprinter Vans, which can accommodate a maximum of 14 passengers. Additionally, we operate 22-passenger mini coaches and 27-passenger executive coaches. We strive to limit the number of stops on our shared shuttle service by utilizing technology to optimize routing and timing for efficiency.

What is the cancellation policy for shared shuttle bookings? And how can I cancel my reservation?

All shared shuttle trips are charged at the time of booking and are fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to your reservation. To cancel your reservation, please email us at [email protected] or text our main line at 970-846-6570.

Do you offer your “Shared Door-to-Door Shuttle Service” to Denver International Airport? Or other markets such as Boulder, Denver, Vail/Eagle or Aspen?

Ski Town’s Shared Shuttles exclusively operate between Steamboat Springs and the Hayden-Yampa Valley Airport (HDN) for both pick-up and drop-off locations. If your destination in Steamboat Springs is other than the airport, we recommend booking a private SUV or charter van or bus, if available, to accommodate your specific travel needs.

Will your shared shuttle make additional stops at the grocery store or liquor store on the way to our final destination?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for stops during shared rides out of respect for fellow passengers. However, additional stops at grocery stores, liquor stores, or other locations may be arranged in advance for private rides only, subject to an additional cost.

How many bags am I allowed to travel with?

-Each passenger is permitted one checked bag and one ski/snowboard bag at no extra charge.
-Additional baggage will incur a fee of $25 per item.

What happens if I am delayed for my shuttle departure time due to flight cancellation or delay?

-If your flight is delayed or canceled, rest assured we’ll be aware of the situation. We’ll be waiting for you when your plane lands.
-We’ll move you to the next available shuttle after your flight’s scheduled arrival time. Please inform us of any changes to your flight number or carrier by calling or texting 970-846-6570 or emailing [email protected].
-We’ll do our best to accommodate the change, subject to availability.

I am flying into the Hayden-Steamboat Airport (HDN) and my shuttle departs 5 minutes after my flight is scheduled to land. Will I make the shuttle?

-Yes, our shuttles departing from Hayden-Steamboat Airport (HDN) are flight-specific and depart once guests with reservations have collected their bags and boarded the shuttle.
-We’ll be there for your flight, even if it’s delayed or arrives early.

What happens if I miss my flight?

We are happy to accommodate travelers who can arrive on an alternative flight or date if notified via text, email, or phone within 24 hours before or after your reserved travel date. However, please note that we cannot be held responsible for delays due to weather, road or traffic conditions, mechanical failures, or any other circumstances beyond our control. Any expenses incurred as a result of delayed departure or arrival times, such as missed flights or other travel connections, are the sole responsibility of the passenger. We recommend considering travel insurance to mitigate these concerns.

How do I check-in for my shared shuttle reservation at Hayden-Steamboat Airport?

Ski Town’s guest service counter/kiosk is located in the main terminal at Hayden-Steamboat Airport (HDN) between luggage carousels #1 and #2 inside baggage claim (to the right of Avis/Budget). Checking in with us allows us to reconfirm your reservation details, assist you with any luggage, and direct you towards your shuttle. Should I tip my driver? How do I tip my driver?

Passengers on shared ride shuttles are welcome to tip their driver in-person with cash and/or some drivers may accept cashless payments for tips at their discretion – ask your driver. Tips are appreciated, with an average of 10% to 20% of the reservation cost.

Are pets allowed to ride in your vehicles?

Pets are permitted if in a carrier. However, service dogs are allowed on shared ride shuttles and will not incur an additional charge. Please inform us when making your reservation if you will be traveling with a pet. This ensures that all guests on your shuttle are comfortable with your pet’s presence.

Can I request special accommodations for my ride?

Absolutely! We strive to accommodate all special requests to make your experience with Ski Town Transportation as enjoyable as possible. Please inform us of any special accommodations needed at the time of booking, and we will do our best to fulfill your requirements.

What is your cancellation policy? And how can I cancel my reservation?

I left something on board one of your shuttles. How can I get my lost item back?

If you left an item on the vehicle, please call us at 970-846-6570 and email us a description to [email protected] and we will coordinate with you to get it back in your hands.
