Flying to Steamboat in the spring, summer, and fall is easier than you think, as long as you book your ground transportation from the airport to the resort! Steamboat Springs, Co is a fortunate mountain resort town, having an airport relatively close, and able to serve normal sized mainline large aircraft. Yampa Valley Regional Airport/Fly Steamboat (HDN), located in Hayden, Co is approximately 26 miles or 40 minutes driving time to/from Steamboat Resort depending on conditions. The Hayden Airport (HDN) offers convenient access to our world class resort, without the hassle of driving from the Denver International Airport, which is approximately 3 1/2 hours driving with normal conditions.
After booking your flights into Steamboat Springs/Hayden Airport (HDN), it is best to make prearranged ground transportation reservations for our door to door shared shuttle or private car service with Ski Town Transportation. Although Ski Town Transportation is able to serve shuttle passengers on a walk up basis, other sources of ground transportation such as Lyft and Uber are extremely limited or non existence in the town of Hayden (Population: 2,000) and Steamboat Springs. Ski Town Transportation has a staffed desk in baggage claim at the Hayden/Yampa Valley Regional Airport daily for all scheduled arriving & departing commercial flights. Our staff is more than happy to assist you with all your ground transportation needs.

Ski Town only operates our door to door shared shuttle service from the Hayden (HDN) Airport to/from Steamboat Springs at this time.
